Sometimes you have to choose the right DC motor quickly – for example when constructing a prototype, or if a product is scheduled for a swift market launch. Brushed and brushless DC motors with diameters of 8 to 35 millimeters form the basis of the offering, with maxon recently significantly expanding its range of ECX drives.

As a result, ECX SPEED drives are now available in a variety of sizes, both in the high-power or sterilisable versions and also with the option of ceramic bearings. Additionally on offer are suitable planetary gearheads (GPX SPEED) which, as a sealed design, tolerate 2,000 autoclave cycles. All of the drive's interfaces can be adapted at will in the online configurator: shafts, flanges, electrical connections, etc. This gives users a whole new range of possibilities. Your ideal drive – including gearheads and encoder – can be configured and ordered in only a few minutes. The electronic data goes directly to maxon motor's production facilities, where the drives are put together in automated processes. Your order will leave our factory in Switzerland no later than eleven working days after it was placed.
