The maxon motor Group is strengthening its worldwide network in the market for high-precision drives and systems up to 500 watts; on 1st August 2010 the new subsidiary – maxon precision motor India Pvt. Ltd. – has been established in Bangalore.

"In our business one has to operate close to the market and the customers." explained Eugen Elmiger, Director of Sales and Marketing at maxon motor ag. "A great amount of our drive systems are developed as customer specific solutions. With our new subsidiary in India we have established a base to serve our customers even more individually and flexibly." he added. Apart from better service maxon motor expects a lasting growth pro-cess in India.

maxon motor is entering well known territory with the newly founded subsidiary. Since 2000 the drive specialist has been active on the Indian market by distributorship. With immediate effect the complete maxon product range will only be available, in India, from the Group company maxon precision motor India Pvt. Ltd. The com-pany is domiciled in Bangalore in the South of India. Bangalore has become an important industrial center, mainly in the sector of IT, Medical and Aerospace.

In India maxon motor is headed by Mr. Atul Bhardwaj having more than 16 year’s experience in drive technology, application engineering and system solution.
